How to Make Money Fast in Monkey Mart (No Cheats Needed)

Published · 3 min read

Search for Monkey Mart and half the suggestions are about money: hacks, cheats, unlimited coins. You do not need any of them. The game pays you for one thing — completed sales — and almost every way of earning faster comes down to making each sale take less of your time. Here is how.

1. Money only counts once you pick it up

When a customer pays, the notes land on the counter next to the till. They are not in your wallet until the monkey walks over them. New players often leave a pile sitting there while they stand on a green arrow wondering why the price is not going down. Make the counter a stop on every lap and you will never be waiting for money you have already earned.

2. Walk loops, not errands

An errand is "go get bananas". A loop is "trees, banana shelf, till, counter, trees again". The loop is faster because you never walk back the way you came, and because it ends at the till, the queue gets served every single time round. When you add a new product, fit it into the loop instead of making a separate trip for it.

3. Speed is the best upgrade early on

Everything the monkey does is walking and then standing. You cannot make the standing much shorter, but the walking gets shorter with every speed upgrade. Since every task gets cheaper at once, speed pays back faster than any single shelf. Carry size is the next one to buy: it matters most once you are moving expensive machine-made products, because each trip is worth more.

4. Fill the valuable shelf first

Raw crops are cheap. Processed goods — peanut butter, bread, yogurt, ice cream, chocolate — sell for more. When you have a choice between two empty shelves, fill the one that earns more per item. Machines need feeding too, so a machine standing idle because nobody brought it peanuts is money left on the floor.

5. Hire for the job you hate

Staff are how the store grows past what one monkey can do. The first hire should cover the job you repeat most, and for nearly everyone that is the till. After that, put workers on the product lines you keep refilling by hand. Once a line is staffed, stop visiting it and spend your own time on the next green arrow.

6. Things that slow you down

  • Tapping keys while harvesting. Moving cancels the harvest. Stop completely and wait.
  • Buying a crop with no shelf. Save until you can afford both; the crop alone earns nothing.
  • Over-carrying. A full shelf cannot take more. Skip it and go where the space is.
  • A queue out of the door. Customers give up and leave. Serve or hire a cashier.

7. Let the store work while you rest

Hired monkeys keep selling while you are not moving. If you need a break, leave the tab open for a few minutes and come back to a pile of cash on the counter. Your store is saved in the browser too, so closing the tab does not lose anything — you just start the next session where you stopped.

None of this is a secret trick. It is simply what the game rewards: fewer wasted steps, the right shelf first, and staff doing the repetitive work. Do those three and the money takes care of itself.
